Before and After:

Retouching Minh’s IS250

The final product: (above)

The out of camera image: (above)

First off, I want to say I was inspired by 1013mm blog and all the work he has done. The intentions for this image was to make a urban grungy vibe that would not take away from the focus of the image the car. In Photoshop, the unwanted elements of the image needed to be removed; the truck on the right at the set of lights and the lamp post on the left. Next many areas where the healing brush and context aware option could not fix needed to be drawn in. That was the most time consuming part, next after lowered the exposure as well as decreasing the saturation I masking out the car. Lastly, I went in again with another layer mask to increase the contrast and sharpness of the details. The final image is now less flat and hopefully more appealing to your eyes.
