My First Trip to Martha’s Vineyard

I’ve lived in MA pretty much my whole life and never been to Martha’s Vineyard even though so many people in the area go daily. The family and I were invited to go on a day trip with our cousins Canh, his wife Tess, and their daughter Emmy. Living in the New Bedford area we originally planned to leave from the ferry there but after checking the prices the fast ferry would have cost $136 dollar per couple for a round trip in New Bedford. So with family budgeting and all, we opted to drive to Hyannis and use the ferry there because driving to Hyannis was about 45 minutes I figured and $30 of gas round trip and the fares for the Hyannis ferry was $32 per couple so $62 dollars for the entire trip instead of $136 from New Bedford.

The ride was pretty fast to the island, it wasn’t long at all. For the most part Martha’s Vineyard was a nice island, tons of walking around and checking out the scenery. Prices were reasonable for the most part at stores and restaurants. The place is very old school having the oldest carousel and arcade in america they claim, tons of homemade ice cream and desserts. The island people were nice but the tourists were typical for any place nice, ritzy, inconsiderate, rude, etc… it happens everywhere what are ya going to really do, ya know. The beaches were nice and somewhat clean, only liter was from of the folks…lol what else is new right? They still have pictures up from the making of the movie Jaw’s and sell tons of souvenirs. First thing I said when I got off the ferry was ” Where’s cheif Brody?!” All in all a nice place to go see  once a year for a day.

Being alive without the presence of answers to the difficulties you’ve sorted out through this blog post is a crucial case, and the ones that could have negatively affected my entire career if I had not noticed your web page. That know-how and kindness in dealing with almost everything was vital. I don’t know what I would’ve done if I had not discovered such a stuff like this. It’s possible to at this moment look ahead to my future. Thanks so much for this specialized and sensible guide. I won’t hesitate to refer your site to anyone who needs to have care about this subject matter.
