Food rumor: Steak Caprese

Made by site co-founder Minh Tieu, this is an exclusive look at what he is about to add to Barret’s menu. When I last visited him at work that dude had a dish for me to try out and this was it, I didn’t know what to think at the time but it looked impressive.

It is made with an 8oz top sirloin pan seared with fresh basil and sliced tomatoes and mozzarella cheese topped with a balsamic glaze. Why tell you how it’s made because we don’t give a eff.

This dish is so new that most of the managers and staff have no idea what it is and don’t plan on driving for a while if you order that blue drink in the background.

Quick review: It’s refreshing and I like it.
